Thank God finals are finally here! Well, at least thank God classes are almost over. I dont think anyone is really glad to have finals. My last day is on Thursday. Then, I clean out the apartment on Friday and Im outta there!

Trip to the Jewelry Store

Steve took me shopping today, and I managed to force him into a jewelry store (Zales)…just to look around (and show him what I wanted). O_o Anyways, I actually found something I liked – a round cut, one and a half carat, in white gold. I decided to try them on and realized how darn small my hands actually are (boo) and how I need nails…or a really big diamond . I LOVED trying them on…so pretty. It was like having a small car or at least a few iPods on my finger. It was all great. He even let me go to Build-A-Bear and build a look-a-like teddy bear for when I go to Japan and to replace my old Scruffy. I put khaki pants on it and paired it with a solar system t-shirt (the best part is that there wasn’t Pluto on it – so funny…and stupid. I WANT PLUTO BACK! Welp, finals are coming up pretty dang soon. So I gotta go study.
P.S. I got my flight to and from Japan for free Thank you Lord.
I also signed a lease for a place for Fall 2008 – Summer 2009. Very painful and bloodsucking. T_T

Finding a Place to Live.

So as of Fall, I have no place to live. The people who were renting out a room to me don’t “feel like having to be a landlord all the time.” They (in particular one person) don’t want to rent out the room anymore. So now, it seems that I have two options left: 1) Rent out a bedroom on an individual lease in the same place in staying now or 2)Try to call some girls who are interested in a joint lease at this other place that my mom really liked. The place I’m out now kinda sucks only because the bedrooms share walls…and you can hear everything. For example, when one of my roommates brings over her boyfriend and they pretty much hideout in her room from Friday night to Saturday night doing God knows what, but I can certainly hear quite a bit of it. So unpleasant. Option two has the bedrooms on different floors. I have a pretty slim chance of landing Option Two, but I gotta try.
hey told me really late too. That I needed to find a place for August…because they can’t handle confrontation. I randomly find notes scattered about the condo for things like “Please make sure refrigerator is shut when you close it” and such. They have pretty much stopped for now; I guess because it is so pointless. Either way, I am gonna end up having my rent go from 450 to 600 a month. Total bullshit. However, I’ll have one less roommate either way. Obviously I have three right now.
I was in the dorms last semester…nightmare. That’s all I have to say about that. I am so tired of trying to find a place that I basically gave up, I had to have my mom come down and help me find something. Stephen needs to find a place for fall too. He lost his housing lottery. Actually, his roommate [who currently has mono (WTF????)] lost his housing too, so I think they’re gonna find something together. Well, something will turn out.
On a final note. My family is moving everyone (if anyone actually reads this XXP)! The house is Mandarin is getting put up for sale tomorrow and everyone will be put in Palencia House…a million miles away from civilization. It’s ten times nicer than Mandarin House though. Honestly, Palencia House is about 20 miles south from the mall in the middle of town. So, it’s not awful, but it adds like 40 minutes to my driving time from Gainesville. Ugh! Whatever…Later.
